What's One Game That Made You Rage Quit?

Did you ever go back to it? And beat it?

Super Meat Boy, and Getting Over It. Both games will leave you bald by how much hair you'd be pulling out. I know that getting over it basically just subtly insults you as you fall far back to the start... ?

Super Meat Boy is a 2D Side scroller game just like Mario, made around 2010 (Xbox 360 Era) and basically you are just a square slab of meat in a very complex set of levels . There are things that kill you like saw blades etc. It's really challenging and takes a log of trial and error. Eventually the levels will start to get faster and amping up the frustration. You die in the game... like a lot.

Getting over it is also a 2D scroller, instead instead of side to side, you are basically just climbing. You are man with half his body in a caldron and using his arms and hammer to climb a fictional world with random assets and props. There is a finish line... but the climb is no easy feat... if you fall and don't catch yourself, you could end up at the very bottom where you first started. A lot of players rage quit at that point. There is no checkpoints or saves, just 1 man and 1 mission to get to the top.

Super Mario Sunshine, I could not beat the last level and I said screw it, gave up and moved on to something else.

For me, it’s Dark Souls III. That was the first game that I rage quit. Something that I would never forget is being killed more than 10 times by a boss.
