How do you feel about capital punishment / the death penalty?

Do you think this form of judicial punishment should be reserved for serious crimes/

Should we put a mass murderer to death for example or burden taxpayers to provide him or her with life in prison?

There's been a lot of mistakes with it. Also, it's hypocritical to call murder wrong and then have the state do it.

However, though, some things are so heinous (serial murders, child murders, murders with torture), that the death penalty seems appropriate, and also with torture.

I agree with this pretty wholeheartedly.

States that allow this are serial killers in all honesty.

So much capital punishment in the past was about being as harsh as possible: crucifixion, eye gouging, burning

Executing 14-year-olds is pretty sick if you ask me.
