Blogs vs. Newsletters

I'm not sure how many people respond to email. I might be the minority but I ignore most emails. In fact, I only check it when I need to reset passwords or do something regarding a job search.

And, honestly, it seems like the buyers/people are all on social media but I could be exaggerating.
I read emails more than I read blogs.

My 3K+ subscriber newsletter has a 56 to 62 percent open rate most of the time. That means at least more than half of my subscribers are opening my email.

The CTR isn't bad, either.

I heard in a recent podcast about newsletters that open rates increase in 2025 into 2026.

Some feel that newsletters are the new blog.
