Do you exercise in the cold?

A big respect for doing 11 miles in the cold! I tried jogging in the cold once and gave up halfway ?. These days I just do indoor stuff until it warms up again.

    Dieting

I just prefer to balance things out instead of placing myself on a strict dieting. If I eat heavy one day, I go lighter the next. That keeps it simple.

    Worst Diet!

Cotton ball diet? That sounds awful ?. I can’t imagine trying that. The worst I’ve done was a juice-only diet. It lasted two days and I felt miserable. I don't think I can ever do that again.

    Healthy meals that are delicious???

I come big on grilled chicken with veggies and a bit of spice. I believe that healthy meals don't have to taste boring if you season it right.

    Is cheating okay?

Yeah, agreed. Cheat meals aren’t bad if you control them. I usually plan mine after a solid week of workouts and I'm liking the reward. It helps me stay sane to be honest.

How often do you go jogging?

I used to jog every week but now it’s rare. I mostly do walks or quick workouts at home. Jogging just takes more energy to start sometimes.

    Life changing Fitness Tips

For me, I believe that consistency beats intensity. I used to push too hard then quit, but now I just keep it steady and it’s really made a huge difference.

    What demotivates you to exercise?

Yeah same here. Once it’s cold or rainy, my motivation drops to zero. I’ll tell myself “just 10 minutes” but end up staying under the blanket instead ?. Weather is something that really affects me, I won't lie.

    Beginner Workouts

I’ve heard a lot about kettlebell workouts but never tried them. Might give it a go now that you said that. I like quick routines that actually work, not those long, complicated ones.

What's your favorite way to stay active?

I’m not into gyms or heavy lifting, but I walk , cycle, and sometimes I do light home workouts just to keep myself active. When i go for a long walk, it clears my head better than therapy. Staying active doesn’t have to be intense as long as you move your body every day, it counts.

What's the most interesting thing you've learned recently?

The fact I learned yesterday was that octopuses have three hearts. I didn't believe it at first, so I had to Google it. This made me realize why people get addicted to watching nature documentaries on YouTube as there are lots of mysteries to unravel there.

What's your favorite way to spend a free day?

I’m the happiest man on earth on slow weekends. I can just binge Netflix shows, snack on junk food, and nap whenever I wanted. I can even do whatever I wanted, sometimes I’ll play video games with friends or just take a walk outside. I don’t set alarms or have any plans. I just live it to the...

What's the best advice you've ever received?

“Start messy, improve later.” was the best advice I ever received and it was from my uncle. That line saved me from wasting so much time waiting for the perfect moment before I do whatever I want to do. It works for business, content creation, even relationships. Perfection is overrated...

What's the best restaurant you've been to recently?

I tried this little seafood grill spot near my house and I can say it's the best grilled fish I have ever eaten. The sauce and every other thing we're in the right proportion. The restaurant is not a big name, just a small local restaurant with smoke everywhere, but their food is very delicious.

What's your favorite comfort food and why?

For me, it’s always been jollof rice with fried plantain. It’s cheap and I like it more when it's spicy. We love Jollof rice in my family and we are always fighting for the crunchy bottom part of the pot.? Comfort food like that create beautiful memories. What about you?

    Workout Clothes

It's nothing fancy honestly. I just pick up an old shorts and a random t-shirt most of the time. I bought a gym clothes once and barely wore them. Comfort is all that matters to me, as long as I can move and sweat it out , I’m good.?

    Favorite outdoor activity?

I’m more of a walker than a hardcore trekker. I like just walking through parks. There is a railway that I follow in my neighbourhood. It clears my head a lot. Used to play a bit of football with friends too but that’s rare now.

    Is fasting a good idea?

I’ve done it a couple of times, mostly when I felt like I needed to reset. It works for me but it’s quite tough especially when you love snacking ?. I think short fasts are fine, but those super long ones? nah, I can't do that no more .
