Have you ever broken a bone on your body?

If yes, tell us about it. Did it ever heal up the same?

Do you consider ankle dislocation as having a broken bone? It's the only thing I've had that's close to a broken bone.

My ribs...several of them on a couple different occasions. Definitely not a fun healing process, since there's really nothing you can do about it and it hurts to do absolutely anything.

Let me guess, you were involved in an accident that had your ribs broken?

I don't think it's going to sports activities that's going to give you multiple broken ribs, is it?

I've only ever fractured my ankle horseplaying at school.

One was a basketball injury (I got elbowed by someone 4 times my size while we were fighting over a rebound), and the other I slipped on a wet bathroom floor in college and landed chest-first on a bathtub. That one was unbearable!

Damn!! I had goosebumps reading and picturing that.

I've had a busted lips once when I was playing football. I want for a header from corner kick and the goalkeeper came out with a flying punching in my face. It was the last time I went to head football when a corner kick is played.

I believe I have only ever broken one bone in my body, and that was when I stubbed my little toe, and I am pretty sure it was broken. I couldn't walk properly for days or wear shoes for days due to the swelling, but the hospital couldn't really do much for a broken little toe.

I have also torn muscle ligaments as well, which I was told is just as painful, if not more painful, than breaking a bone.

The only time I've torn my muscle ligaments was from working out too much at the gym. It was very painful experience. Since then, I learnt not to push myself too much at the gym.
