Would a wildlife sanctuary be better than a zoo or aquarium?

Do you think we endanger wildlife just to be able to look at them?

How do you all feel about this issue?

wildlife sanctuary will certainly be better for animals but not for humans. That's because zoos are not just for fun, they also allow people to learn about animals, I do not think zoos should be banned but I believe living conditions of animals should be improved.

As long as the conditions of the animals in the zoo is well improved, I'm always going to be in support of it because some animals are endangered species living in the wild. The zoo gives them a chance at survival.

The closest big zoo to me is the St. Louis Zoo.

They are said to do a lot for animals.

In 2022, they released the 10,000th hellbender in the Missouri Ozarks, a species that was nearly extict.

This is exactly why I'll always be in support of zoo. When they are managed well and all the animals there taken care of adequately, they lay the foundation of saving nearly extinct species.

Yeah, I actually like reading when the book is not boring to me 😅. Back in secondary school, I used to read Chinua Achebe and James Hadley Chase every time. These days I prefer e-books as there is no stress of carrying heavy novels around.
