At least 1999 or 2000.

I used phpBB1 for a short time and then phpBB2 for quite a while.

I'm old, LOL.

How did you discover or come across your first forum?

I was creating static HTML pages about tips and tricks that came with WebTV, which is what I used at first.

I would add a guestbook to the bottom of the page to discuss. Basically, I was blogging before blogging was a thing LOL.

A friend said, check out phpBB. I did and loved it. Shortly after that, phpBB2 was released, and I jumped onto the bandwagon.

I think my fellow website buddy had a phpBB forum that I checked out first.

I was using Msn Groups, I think, before that.
