Back when I was in school, you got paddled pretty hard for violating the rules.

Most of the time if you got it at school, then you REALLY got it at home.

Back then, I never heard of a school shooting.

Do you think lack of corporal punishment in school has enabled students to be feared instead of fearing the system?

Are you for corporal punishment in school or against it?

Discuss. Debate. Be respectful, please!

There was quite a bit of harsh bullying at my middle school, even with corporal punishment.
Bullying has always been a problem.

I was taught to fight back or get a hard spanking when I got home. Most of the time, I fought back. Sometimes, I got striped with a belt for not fighting back.

Nowadays, that might get both you and the bully arrested and charged with an offense that can hurt your record even as a juvenile.

People can't understand boundaries. To me bullying a person is just like grabbing a woman's rear end or something.
