How do you feel about service dogs?

Do you think anyone abuses this right? Just "pretends" their dog is a service dog so they can bring them everywhere they do?
 
I haven't had one before but I would love to have their experience. Human beings can do anything to please themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if someone did that.

I think people do it more so than we think.
 
I have never had a service dog but if there comes a time when having one is necessary for me, I wouldn't hesitate to get it. I will most likely go for a German shepherd.
 
I have a dear friend/sister who has a service dog as she has some major medical issues. My husband and I are looking for one as I have some medical issues including really bad PTSD as well as my husband but he got his from the Army and I got mine from abuse. :(
 
My fiancee needs one, not sure how to go about getting one and I'm sure we can't afford it anytime soon.
