Yes! Ignore my King of the Hill avatar, because I refuse to use a gas grill. It’s a basic charcoal grill and everything turns out perfect.

I grill steak, bratwurst, burgers, corn and veggie skewers, depending on the day. I smoke ribs (electric smoker) when I feel like spending all day outside, but that’s not often.

I bought a 28" Blackstone grill. We make smash burgers on it. They're the bomb! It's gas obviously but I don't mind it. However, I agree with you that charcoal is better.
