I try to explorer on my own, staying away from hot spots and check out things on my own.

I'll stay away from problematic areas like "the bad side of town," but still go explore more areas that most people don't explore.

Oh yeah.

I skip highways too so I tend to go through the bad areas at times.

Yeah, its easier that way but I rather stick to the highways and be safe.
