Have any of you ever lost a pet before?

I've lost many dogs and cats. I always kills me. To me, it's like losing a close family member or even a child. How about you? Does it hurt you a lot?

Losing any of your pet always feels like losing a family member because they are dear to us always. I've lost one of dogs to hit and run drivers. I was nearly broken by the hurt. Since then, I don't let any of my pets to go out of the house.

I really don't get dogs anymore because they don't typically last that long, and I get super attached to them.

My cats, on the other hand will probably outlive me LOL

Last year, I lost my very first dog due to old age and pancreatitis. The heartbreak was overwhelming, and I still find myself crying whenever I think of my best friend. The pain of losing him feels even deeper than that of a breakup.

It definitely hurts.

I think about my last dog at least every week and he's been gone for about 10 years.

sadly, my pets have never lived their full life. I got my first pet when I was 10 years and it died just after 8 weeks. My last pet was eaten by tiger (in my farm).

Are the tigers hazardous for humans, too?

Yep. Tiger population has doubled in our country in the last 10 years and it has created a lot of tiger-human conflict in the country.

I have never owned any pet because I wouldn't have the time to look after them very well. I love them but can't keep them.

That's why I like cats. They require very little!

When it comes to a pet's death, then I have lost a pet. I have lost a family cat a few years ago. It was a really saddening incident for me. Having said that, I miss that cat sometimes. It was a Persian cat. It was owned by my family. I really feel sad when people lose their pets.

I've heard same thing about them too. Maybe, I'll consider cats later.

I'm definitely getting a tiger killing gun for sure if any of my pet got eaten by them.

There's no way I wouldn't revenge by killing any tiger I see in mj farm.

Yes sadly I have lots many animals in my life time.
I wished animals would live as long as humans do.

We lost our house cat the other day. I found her dead. It's been hard month.

They eventually die and it sucks

Just lost one the other day. Our housecat died suddenly. I found her dead and it about killed me. First my dad, then my cat. We're done with inside pets. It's too dang hard to lose them. I get way too attached.

I lost a dog some few years back and to be honest, it really crushed me because he has become family.
