Is professional sports too commercialized?

I mainly watch football (soccer) and I do not think it is as infected as other sports like American football are. I cannot take a break every few minutes for commercials or whatever. I also love tennis. I do not find it too commercialized, but there are too many games throughout the year to follow, so I watch what I can when I can.

And no, I do not think professional leagues are scripted. However, some smaller leagues definitely are, and they are sometimes rigged too for betting reasons.
