Just curious, what's the smallest number of people you've created a forum for? A small church or activity group, for example. Did people find it useful?

Right now, it's my local cycling forum. There is over 100 people but it's mainly people from my region. Out of the 100+, maybe 5 of us are active.

I've wanted to start some for churches because I feel I need to give back. However, though, they aren't interested even though one church has an SSL certificate that doesn't work.

If the people are not used to forums, they'll likely not jump on board.

Now, social media, they'll likely get right on it.

I remember back in the day when all the Christian groups used Msn Chat and Msn Groups.
