What sources do you use for news?

Do you use a source that leans a certain way?

Al Jazeera is my top favorite news channel. They are one of the best that's never biased with how they air their news of what's happening worldwide.

Al Jazeera was also my favorite but these days I do not like them much because in the name of telling stories of subalterns, they are siding with hardliners.

I typically tune into my local ABC station for TV news, as I find it more balanced. National news, on the other hand, has become so overwhelmingly biased that I’ve largely turned away from it. Personally, I consider CBS to be the most egregious in that regard.

I’m still somewhat old school in my news consumption. I have a print delivery subscription to the Wall Street Journal, Economist, and occasionally the Seattle Times, depending on my mood. I subscribe to LA Times and Redding Record Searchlight via their apps.

However, I always end up canceling the Seattle Times due to its frequent biased commentary (often 100% factually incorrect) and nonstop whining. At one point, I was even receiving it for free every day. Such is their struggle to retain readers that won't even take it for nothing. ?

For local, I use a lot of independent newspapers. They seem to cover more local news than the major station affiliated ones.

For foreign news, I watch a few different ex-CIA ex-Military guys since they probably know more about it than most news agencies.
